He explained how sustainability application can help patrolists in the dryland adapte to climate change, protect fragile rangelands and secure long- term food security.

Dr Kibii further explained the need to explore breeds for the drought conditions as vital force future sustainability.
" Sustainability in the drylands is the discipline of protecting a household's income through a bad season. Rest the land, keep the reserves, breed the animals that survive, sell early, insure what you can, register the Commons and count the sector honestly so that budgets follow".
